Our mission...

To make natural and organic skin care available to the public at an affordable price.

Pure Bodycare Company was started when its founder discovered a very limited choice in the skin care market for truly natural and organic skin care at an affordable price. Most products are full of harmful chemicals. Many products partake in hoodwinking the public with its "green washing" products i.e. products that have "Naturals" as part of its logo, a couple of natural ingredients in its label and ingredients with the rest of the contents being chemicals. Then the majority of products that label themselves as organic, have outrageous price tags.

Our ingredients...
Our ingredients are at least 99% natural and at least 70% organic. The supplier of the majority of our raw ingredients is a very reputable manufacturer that is pending organic certification. The essential oils we use are 100% natural, pure, undiluted, unadulterated therapeutic grade oils purchased from a very reputable distributor that purchases directly from distilleries worldwide. All their oils undergo quality control backed by gas chromatograph testing for impurities and adulteration. For each oil they distribute, the botanical name, plant part, extraction method, origin and certificate of analysis is provided. We're not stingy in the use of our oils either. Our products smell divine and have many wonderful therapeutic properties.

What about preservatives?
Many of the natural ingredients we use offer some antibacterial benefits. However, steam, heat, direct sunlight and other adverse conditions help encourage bacterial growth and most natural preservatives can’t be used in strong enough concentrations to fight contamination without running the risk of skin irritation or allergic reactions. Hence, we use a minute amount (less than 1%) of a safe broad-spectrum preservative (Phenoxyethanol) in some of our products to boost the preservative action of the natural ingredients, providing protection against a broad range of bacteria, microbes, yeast, fungi and molds. Bacteria can break down ingredients in a product, making it less stable and effective, as well as posing some serious health risks.

No excessive packaging
Pure Bodycare Company does not use any exterior cardboard packaging on its products. This just gets thrown in the garbage or recycling box as soon as it arrives home so why use it?
